Statement

I have submitted work I have completed on my National Diploma as well as personal work to show a wide array of my abilities in Graphic Design.

I have included such work as Web Design, Illustration, Graphic Design, Photography, Sketchbook Development and Handmade Products which I’m sure will show my skills and strengths within design.

I’m very passionate about my work and explore every avenue possible. I’m constantly writing and drawing visuals in my journal, which always expand into different ideas and possibilities for future projects. I tend to keep an eye on the latest advances and developments in design by reading the Computer Arts magazine and the Illusive Contemporary Illustration book, which keeps me up to date on new methods and styles.

As well as my ponderous and constant creativity I enjoy socialising, meeting new people, music events, technology, reading, watching the news, watching documentaries and taking photos of new places I explore. My interests and exploration broadens my horizons massively in terms of ideas and development for creating something fresh.

I am interested in Graphic Design at Manchester Metropolitan University as I think my skill sets would be beneficial and would improve thus to become the best I can be, excelling my originality. I also feel that from when visiting your University via an open day I will be a student that challenges their imagination and boundaries with the facilities you offer.
